React.js Developer

We’re looking for a Kuala Lumpur-based React.js Developer to build the web interfaces at the heart of our products. Amast builds AI-powered software that runs the operations businesses depend on — from field sales to analytics to maintenance — and the web app is where a lot of that work gets done. You’ll build fast, polished, reliable front-ends that make complex software feel simple.

About the role

In this role you will:

• Build and ship product features in React — clean, responsive, accessible interfaces that hold up under real use.
• Turn complex workflows and dense data into interfaces that feel simple and obvious.
• Work closely with design to match Figma exactly, and with backend to integrate APIs cleanly.
• Own front-end performance, state management, and the component structure the rest of the team builds on.
• Write tested, maintainable code, review others’ with care, and help shape our front-end patterns and tooling.

Requirements

• 3+ years building production web apps in React, with work you can show
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript, and a real grasp of React (hooks, state management, performance)
• Solid HTML and CSS, and an eye for matching designs precisely
• Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs, and handling real-world data and error states
• A grasp of testing, accessibility, and front-end performance
• Experience with Next.js, data-heavy dashboards, or design systems is a plus
