Videographer & Photographer
We’re looking for a Kuala Lumpur-based Videographer & Photographer to put a face on Amast. Amast builds AI-powered software that runs the operations businesses depend on — from field sales to analytics to maintenance — and your job is to capture the people behind it: the team, the product, and the work, shot well enough to stop someone mid-scroll.
About the role
In this role you will:
- Shoot photo and video in-house — the team and the day-to-day, product and demos, expert explainers, and the events we’re part of.
- Cut your own footage into short-form video that’s ready to post, and edit stills to a consistent, on-brand standard.
- Turn our engineers and specialists into explainers people actually watch — set up the shot, run the session, and make someone who has never been on camera look at ease.
- Shoot the photography behind our hiring — real pictures of the real team for the careers site and job pages.
- Own the photo and video library so the rest of the team can find, reuse, and ship what you’ve shot.
Requirements
- 3+ years shooting photo and video professionally, with a portfolio or showreel that shows both
- A strong eye for light — you can get a clean, brand-grade shot in an ordinary office, not just a studio
- Confident editing your own work: Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for video, Lightroom or Capture One for stills
- Good instincts for sound — you know bad audio loses a viewer faster than bad picture
- A feel for what works on LinkedIn and short-form video, and the judgement to shoot for the format
- Comfortable directing people who aren’t used to being filmed, and keeping a shoot moving
- Experience with brand, corporate, or B2B content is a plus
